Water

Clouds are formed when there is more water in a specific volume than the atmosphere can hold as vapor, this is called the saturation point. The amount of water vapor decreases when air cools, this causes the most effective cooling process in the atmosphere to lift. When air rises, the pressure decreases and then the droplets can expand and cool. When enough of these droplets are formed, they become a visible could.

Questions:
•Was the article you selected an example of discovery science or hypothesis based science? Explain
The article was discovery science, because after observing all of these observations they realized that the droplets make clouds. They did not search for it, they discovered it.
• What importance does the research or findings have for humans?
Clouds are vital part of the environment, it is important to see where they come from to see their effect on the environment and on humans.
