Anti aging genes

Scientists have found genes in the body of a human being as well as in the body of an animal that protect us from aging. These genes produce more proteins that help the body from aging. Scientist from the University of Liverpool have been able to track these genes in tissues but not in an entire organism. Amazingly, our body is capable of responding to the years that go by mechanically. Studies of the mechanism are helping scientist develop tools such as medicines that will help combat diseases that develop with the years.

The article I selected is an example of discovery science because the scientists had not hypothesis nor suspected that these genes might exist. As the scientists analyzed different tissues, they found out how these genes produce proteins that help with aging and now are using these to help them find new ways to combat aging more effectively.

This research is important for humans because it provides an alternative for a longer life expectancy. Not only humans can benefit from these genes but animals as well. The future of human beings might rely on these genes.
